After many years of cooperation between P. Jentschura, “natürlich” health-food magazine and “eve” organic foods magazine, the two editors-in-chief and seven readers of each publication had the exclusive pleasure of being among the first to visit the Jentschura Academy, experience the Jentschura universe and learn alkaline lifestyle principles.

From Monday through Wednesday (June 26 – 28), participants attended the “Learning healthy living” seminar at the Academy, where they were introduced to more than just the theoretical background behind the alkaline lifestyle—they also received hands-on experience. They had to pack their bags before that though, because the event began on Sunday evening (June 25) with dinner and socializing with the head of the Academy, Ute Jentschura, founder Dr. h. c. Peter Jentschura and the Academy team. “The acid-alkaline balance was a topic of discussion there too, of course. That’s the reason they came, after all,” says a smiling Dr. h. c. Peter Jentschura looking back. Theory and practice did not begin until the next day, however, after guests spent the night in the comfortable hotel rooms on the second floor of the Jentschura Academy.

Starting Monday, seminar participants enjoyed a highly diverse program, learning everything they needed to know about a healthy alkaline lifestyle and about alkaline-forming foods, aerobic exercise and alkaline personal care. “My readers and I especially liked the diverse mix of theory and practice,” said “natürlich” Editor-in-Chief Jessica Pankoke, summing up the experience. In addition to expert lectures, the event also included alkaline baths, exercise units, cooking together and evening discussion groups.

Editor-in-Chief Martina Gatzka of “eve” added her thoughts as well: “We feel very fortunate to have come here for the promotion along with some of our readers. The metabolism experts, ecotrophologists and physical therapists really showed us how to learn healthy living.”
