WurzelKraft/AlkaLife Zhough – fiery green chili paste

Ingredients for about 350 ml
Traditional spicy version
60 g coriander, fresh (1 bunch)
12 g parsley
1 tbsp. WurzelKraft/AlkaLife
150 ml olive oil
4 cloves of garlic
4 green chilis
1 tsp. ground cardamom
1 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. Pul Biber (red pepper flakes)
1/2 squeezed lemon
Mild version
50 g parsley, fresh
12 g chervil
2 tbsp. WurzelKraft/AlkaLife
12 g coriander
150 ml olive oil
4 cloves of garlic
2 – 3 green chilis
1 tsp. ground cardamom
1 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. Pul Biber (red pepper flakes)
1/2 squeezed lemon
Preparation

Combine all the ingredients except the WurzelKraft/AlkaLife and pepper flakes in a mortar, or blend them to a fine paste with a hand blender. When the desired consistency is achieved, add the WurzelKraft/AlkaLife and pepper flakes, and leave to stand for at least 20 minutes.
