Double win
Jentschura’s “WurzelKraft/AlkaLife” - The optimised award-winner
Münster, 21 January 2019. The 100-plant organic food “WurzelKraft/AlkaLife” from P. Jentschura has now received no less than two major awards. The products from the acid-alkaline expert from Münster continue to rank at the top of the consumer popularity scale. At the same time, the recipe for the granules has been optimised once again and the packaging design has been revamped.
The high-quality natural product climbed right up the winner’s podium as the “Reformprodukt des Jahres” (health food product of the year) and was awarded a prestigious readers’ prize. A specialist jury made up of retail experts and the “Stiftung Reformhaus-Fachakademie” (Academy for a Healthier Lifestyle” also chose it as the “Reformprodukt des Jahres 2019” in the vegetarian category. The readers of the “natürlich” health food magazine are also convinced by “WurzelKraft/AlkaLife” and voted the natural food as their “favourite product”.

“Every award is a great honour for us and at the same time an incentive to consistently develop our products further,” says company founder Dr h. c. Peter Jentschura. However, the natural scientist already had this ambition before the prize was awarded. Because he has now optimised the recipe for “WurzelKraft/AlkaLife” once again. Jentschura: “We’ve increased the amount of herbs, vegetables and spices, so there are now significantly more phytochemicals, specifically more bitter compounds. This is because the bitter substances, which are extremely important for metabolism, are found in fewer and fewer plants due to modern cultures.”
In addition, the grinding is finer, which is particularly advantageous when stirring into liquids. The packaging design is also new. The label has been refreshed and the lid completely redesigned in the shape of a May green calyx, in keeping with the natural contents.
Incidentally, both the expert jury and the “natürlich” readers have often opted for Jentschura products – for example, last year for the MorgenStund' millet and buckwheat porridge, which has been one of the most popular products from the Münster-based family business for more than a decade.
