MorgenStund' Apple Oven Bake
Ingredients for 2-3 servings
100 g | MorgenStund' |
180 ml | oat drink |
180 ml | water |
cinnamon or vanilla | |
2 (250-280 g) | large apples |
6 (50 g) | soft apricots |
2 – 3 tbsp | flaked hazelnuts |
some lemon juice | |
2 | eggs |
grease for the dish |
Preparation
Bring MorgenStund' to the boil with the oat drink, water, cinnamon or vanilla while stirring and simmer on a low heat for 1-2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and allow to cool. Wash, core and chop the apples. Chop the apricots. Put everything in a bowl, mix with hazelnuts and lemon juice. Separate the eggs and mix the yolks with the cooled MorgenStund. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in.
Grease a baking dish and pour half the MorgenStund' into the dish. Now half the apple mixture, then MorgenStund' again and spread the rest of the apples on top.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Bake the MorgenStund' Apple Oven Bake in the oven on the middle shelf for approx. 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
